We are a semi-private gym specializing in personal training to meet the needs of each individual.

We specialize in Traditional Strength Training and Cognitive Strength Conditioning, which can be called Mind-Body Fusion workout - aims to engage both physical and mental simultaneously.

We like to start with traditional strength training to get the body strong, then incorporate the cognitive strength conditioning and alternate between the two programs for those individuals that are interested in this training.

Traditional Strength Training

Focuses on building muscle size, strength and endurance through resistance exercises. Using free weights, machines and body weight to isolate specific muscle groups and work them to exhaustion.

Cognitive Strength Conditioning

Combines physical strength training and movement with exercises that enhance balance, motor control, coordination & cognitive function. These type of exercises further stimulate brain function and mental well-being which is crucial for maintaining neural efficiency especially as we age. We use props, free weights, resistance bands and body weight in these sessions.

Key Benefits

  • Individuals can achieve significant muscle growth and improved muscle definition.

  • Stimulate bone growth and density, which can reduce the risk of osteoporosis and fractures, particularly as individuals age.

  • As muscles grow, they require more energy to maintain basal metabolic rate, which means that even at rest, individuals burn more calories, aiding in weight management and fat loss.

  • Strengthening muscles enhances balance and stability. It also improves posture by strengthening back and core.

  • Physical strength training triggers and releases endorphins, improving mood, reducing stress and increases overall energy levels.

  • Strength training primarily focuses on muscle development, it can help lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease.

  • Strength training has been linked to neuroprotective benefits that can help slow down or prevent cognitive decline associated with aging.

  • Incorporating cognitive elements into strength training, can increase motivation and adherence to exercise routines.
